Sopore, August 5 (KNS): The All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA) wednesday organised a full-day Marsiya, Majlis-e-Hussainy and procession at Hygham, Sopore, where thousands of mourners gathered to pay tribute to the unmatched sacrifices of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the martyrs of Karbala.
Addressing the gathering, AJKSA President Molvi Imran Reza Ansari spoke in detail about the immense sacrifices rendered by the children who accompanied Imam Hussain (A.S.) to the plains of Karbala. He recalled the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S.), the six-month-old infant who was struck by a three-pronged arrow while in the arms of his father, and Hazrat Qasim ibn Hasan (A.S.), whose supreme sacrifice reflected unwavering devotion to the mission of truth and justice. He said that the sacrifices of the children of Karbala remain a timeless lesson in faith, patience and steadfastness against oppression.
Molvi Ansari also shed light on the unparalleled courage and resilience of Bibi Zainab (S.A.), who, despite witnessing the brutal massacre of her family, stood fearlessly in the court of Yazid and delivered sermons that exposed tyranny and preserved the message of Karbala for generations to come.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that had it not been for the steadfastness and eloquence of Bibi Zainab (S.A.) and Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (A.S.), the true objectives of Imam Hussain’s (A.S.) sacrifice would not have reached the world.
On the occasion, Molvi Ansari expressed his gratitude to the baramulla Administration and the Jammu & Kashmir Police for their continued cooperation and for ensuring the necessary facilities and peaceful conduct of the religious gathering. He appreciated the efforts made to facilitate mourners during the ongoing Majalis and mourning programmes.
The Majlis concluded with special prayers for lasting peace and stability in the Muslim world. Prayers were offered for the people of Iran and Palestine, for the oppressed across the globe, and for greater unity, brotherhood and solidarity among Muslims.(KNS)
