Aishmuqam residents express gratitude to LG, Advisor Khan for launching development programmes in area

Srinagar, June 3 (KNS): Residents of Aishmuqam and its adjacent areas have extended gratitude to the LG administration,Advisor Baseer Ahmed Khan and District administration for keeping the promise to execute the work for beautification and development of the Aishmuqam town and its adjacent peripheral villages Gujjar pattis and countryside.

They said that the works were started after the My town my pride program and particularly after the meeting of Intizaamia committee ziarat sharief Aishmuqam with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

 

The Intizaamia Committee president Mohd Yaqoob Gadiyal and other stake holders,Jamia masjid intizaamia committee,councillor’s and other social activists of the area have also expressed happiness for the commencement of the works which they termed as the beginning of a developmental era for the area which has world famous revered shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Zain u din Reshi as its main attraction.

 

"It is pertinent to mention that Advisor to LG Baseer A Khan had made a public announcement for such developmental and maintenance programs for the common people and later the intizaamia committee ziarat sharief had met LG Jammu Kashmir and had submitted a detailed requirements and issues to the LG who had assured to do all possible for the development and beautification of the area surrounding the shrine and its neighbourhood," locals told KNS.

 

Last week Deputy commissioner Anantnag paid obeisance at the shrine and promised to kick start the execution of the works as desired by the LG and Advisor Baseer Ahmed Khan, they said. (KNS)
