Ahsan Pardesi urges LG for facilitation of Centre for NTA Exams in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 17(KNS): Jammu and  Kashmir National Conference Provincial Vice President Kashmir and incharge Lal chowk Constituency Ahsan Pardesi expressed serious concern over the inconvenience faced by thousands of J&K students appearing for various  courses through NTA as their exam centers have been established outside the Union Territory (UT).

Pardesi emphasized that this arrangement imposed significant difficulties on the students, who are compelled to travel outside Jammu and Kashmir to appear for their exams, incurring additional expenses for travel and accommodation.

Pardesi particularly highlighted the financial burdens faced by marginalized communities, stating that many students would not be able to afford the expenses associated with traveling outside of J&K. He urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene in the matter and ensure that exam centers were established within Jammu and Kashmir for the convenience of these students.

"I appeal to LG Manoj Sinha  to take immediate action and ensure that exam centers are set up within J&K for the benefit of the students. It is essential to prevent unnecessary hardships for the students and enable them to pursue their exams conveniently within the region," said Ahsan Pardesi

The inconvenience faced by these students highlights the need for the authorities to address the issue promptly and provide suitable arrangements for the upcoming  examinations.(KNS).
