Srinagar, Aug 28 (KNS): Renowned social activist and columnist Ahmad Ayaz on Friday expressed grief over the demise of politician-turned-former bureaucrat Ghazanfar Ali, who served Jammu and Kashmir in several important capacities, including as Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
Paying tributes to Ali, Ayaz described him as an upright, sincere and people-oriented public servant who earned respect for his commitment to public service and his accessible and humane approach towards people.
“Ghazanfar Ali was a distinguished public servant who made a valuable contribution to the administration and public life of Jammu and Kashmir.

Ayaz conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, friends, colleagues and all those associated with the former bureaucrat.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased the highest place in Jannah and give the bereaved family strength and courage to bear the irreparable loss.(KNS).
