Agriculture Enforcement wing Seizes 400 duplicate Fertilizer Bags in Kulgam

 Srinagar, Jan 02(KNS): The enforcement wing of agriculture in Kulgam intercepted a significant consignment of 400 bags containing duplicate spurious fertilizers in the Ladgoo area on Tuesday morning, according to officials

The operation, led by Director Agriculture Kashmir Choudhary Mohammad Iqbal, was carried  out today morning, resulting in the confiscation of the entire illicit shipment. An official said that the team acted swiftly, ensuring the seizure of around 400 bags of duplicate spurious fertilizers during the operation.

"Today's successful interception of 400 bags in Ladgoo is part of an ongoing effort. Such actions will persist in the future as we intensify our fight against duplicate spurious fertilizers," Director Agriculture Kashmir, Choudhury Mohammad Iqbal told KNS.

Choudhary emphasized the importance of ensuring genuine agricultural inputs for the farmers in the region. "Our commitment is to guarantee the availability of authentic fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds to the farmers," he asserted. The Director warned that any violation of established norms would be met with strict consequences.(KNS).
