Srinagar, Jul 22 (KNS): President of the Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safvi, on Wednesday expressed profound grief over the demise of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary and former diplomat Syed Muzaffar Agha, describing his death as an irreparable loss to the region.
In a condolence message, Aga Syed Hassan said Agha was an administrator of exceptional ability, integrity and dedication who devoted nearly four decades of his life to public service.
He said Agha made significant contributions in the fields of governance, development, education, industry, finance and diplomacy, earning widespread respect for his professionalism and commitment.
The Shia leader said Agha's tenure as Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir and his appointment as India's first Ambassador to the Republic of Korea reflected his administrative competence, vision and distinguished service to the nation.

He said Agha belonged to a rare generation of civil servants who upheld dignity, impartiality and institutional integrity despite changing political and administrative circumstances, adding that his life would continue to inspire future generations of public servants.
Paying tributes to the late bureaucrat, Aga Syed Hassan said Jammu and Kashmir had lost a respected administrator who dedicated his life to strengthening public institutions, promoting good governance and serving the people.
He also extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength for the family to bear the loss.(KNS).
