Srinagar, Sep 14(KNS): Abid Hussain Ansari, the senior leader of the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference (JKPC) and General Secretary of the All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association, paid heartfelt tributes to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Kokernag encounter. Ansari’s speech was a poignant reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir due to terrorism, as well as a call for unity.

He raised concerns about the lack of action by authorities regarding a gruesome stabbing incident, which occurred two years ago in the same area. Ansari attributed this inaction to the influence of a group that seeks to torment and defame their community. He called upon the media to visit Pattan and investigate the activities of the “Hizbul Momineen,” a group of criminals responsible for inflicting immense suffering on the local population.
