Demands CAG inquiry into misuse of public funds for fake publicity

Chandigarh, Jan 7 (KNS):  BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today termed the employment giving campaign of the AAP government in Punjab as a hoax.

Commenting on the state government's claim of giving jobs to 25,000 persons in Punjab in the last nine months Chugh said the process of employing people was started by earlier governments, but the AAP government is only drum-beating and has spent crores of rupees on advertorials in the media to spread false information.

He said the AAP government in fact has initiated no process of advertising the posts or holding any selection tests or interviews. It has all been going on for the last more than two years for which the AAP government is making a false claim and taking a misleading credit.

Chugh demanded an in-depth inquiry by the Comptroller and Auditor General office to ascertain how the AAP government has been faking fake and false claims in the advertisements.

The Bhagnwnt Mann government has been giving a completely false and misleading picture of its achievements for which it must be exposed, Chugh added.(KNS)
