Srinagar, Jan 13 (KNS): Terming Shaheed Zeenat-ul-Islam as a shining star in the galaxy of martyrs, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has paid glorious tributes to Zeenat-ul-Islam alias Usman son of Ghulam Hassan Shah and Shakeel Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rasheed Dar residents of Chillipora, Sugan Shopian. Both Zeenat and Shakeel were martyred by the occupational forces at Katepora village of Kulgam.
In a statement issued to KNS, JKDFP Spokesperson said that whole Kashmiri nation is in mourning for Shaheed Zeenat uI Islam and Shaheed Shakeel Ahmad because everybody here knows the fact that youth like Shaheed Zeenat ul Islam and Shaheed Shakeel Ahmad are seldom produced.
The JKDFP Spokesperson said that youth of Kashmir are sacrificing their precious lives in the way of freedom struggle and hence increase our responsibilities to remain steadfast on the path of the freedom movement and protect the priceless sacrifices.
The Spokesperson said that New Delhi and its local agents must accept the fact that Kashmiri people cannot surrender their political rights before the military might so it is high time for everybody to acknowledge the historic facts about the Kashmir dispute and take tangible measure to resolve it according to the wishes of the people living here.
Strongly condemning the use of force on those who had gathered to take part in the last rites of Shaheed Zeenat uI Islam and Shaheed Shakeel Ahmad, the JKDFP spokesman termed the forces action as brutal, undemocratic, and inhuman and the worst example of state terrorism. He said that forces were desperate to stop people from participating in the last rites of the martyrs which indicate how cruel the occupation is turning after each passing day. (KNS)
