Ganderbal, May 16 (KNS): On Wednesday, a youth meeting cum interaction was held by President Women’s Wing Safina Beig and J&KPDP youth president, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra wherein they interacted with the youth from ChoontWali War, Wali War and Chanthen Gulabpora areas of Ganderbal district.
Para interacted with the youth of the area who presented a memorandum of demands which included issues like unemployment, playing ground facilities, and other issues.
Safina Beigh while interacting with the youth said, “Youth are the stakeholders of the peace. It is endeavor of the present Government to provide infrastructure and conducive environment in rural areas.”
She further added, “Government will take all possible measures to improve the standards and engage youth in pro developmental activities.”
On the demands raised by the youth of the area, Para assured them to look into their grievances and the area will have all necessary facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Parra listed the recent youth specific initiatives of the Government. He further added that government has a lot of schemes for the empowerment of the youth and to see the better future they should rope in the schemes available with the various government departments of the State.
Youth representatives of the three areas including Sideeq Ah Mughal, Hilal Ahmad, Mohd Waseem Sajad and others were also present on the occasion. (KNS)
