Srinagar, Aug 27 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress General Secretary Aamir Rasool today expressed deep sorrow on passing away of Former Senior Congress leader Sheikh Abdul Rahman of Batamaloo Srinagar.
Aamir Rasool visited the residence of former leader at Humza Colony Batamaloo and prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the family in their moment of grief.
He said “it is most unfortunate that Sheikh Abdul Rahman is no more with us and we lost devoted and eminent personality who was honest, pious, hard worker and down to earth social activist who throughout his life tirelessly worked for the betterment and uplift of the down trodden sections of the society.”
He remembered the departed soul as a noble man who lived a pious life. (KNS)
