Says public servants must uphold our heritage while meeting the evolving needs of the people
Srinagar, 03 Aug (KNS) : Jammu & Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq Sunday visited Flair Unleashed, a teen-led art exhibition curated by the Fervent Flair Collective.
In a statement tanvir Sadiq Set against the backdrop of Kashmir’s rich artistic tradition, the exhibition showcased powerful work by young talents including Bazla, reaffirming the promise of the Valley’s next generation of artists.
Speaking at the event, Tanvir Sadiq said, “Young artists are the torchbearers of our cultural future, and their creativity deserves platforms that celebrate and elevate it. In a region where history breathes through art, their brilliance fills one with hope.”
He later conducted Halqa and Mohalla-level meetings in the Rainawari Dargah Hazratbal Halqa of the Zadibal Constituency, where local residents shared their concerns and suggestions on ongoing public works.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The day also included a visit to the revered Asar-e-Sharif Dargah Hazratbal, where the MLA paid respects and offered prayers.
In response to public demands, Sadiq has initiated the renovation of the Dargah's community hall, the pathway to Fisherman Colony, two Mehrabs of the Dargah, and several lanes and drains. These initiatives are being funded under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), with further proposals projected through the Capex budget under multiple departments.
Senior party activists including Rafi Khan, Ali Mohammad Shaksaz, BP Dargah Adil Chowdhary, and others accompanied the MLA during the engagements. This visit underscores a dual commitment: fostering cultural expression among youth and addressing the real and immediate needs of local communities through tangible development.(KNS)
