Condemns brutal killing of a mentally retarded person at Budgam

Srinagar, Feb 19 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik who was admitted in SKIMS Soura has been discharged from hospital , a spokesman said on Monday.
He was admitted at SKIMS on Feb 14, 2018, after suffering from Haematuria and acute Urinary retention and severe pain.
“At SKIMS, professor Dr Muhammad Saleem Wani and Dr Nisar Tramboo after preliminary checkups advised to admit him at the hospital. His USG showed Blood clots in his bladder that were causing obstruction to urine flow. He was immediately shifted to Operation Theater where a catheter was fixed to his body. Multiple USG reports after removal of catheter showed some blood clots in the bladder which was managed conservatively by a team of doctors led by Professor Muhammad Saleem Wani,” Spokesman said in a statement issued to KNS.
He said that many medical tests regarding his Kidneys, abdomen, and heart were taken during these days results of some of which are still awaited. “Today after six days, Doctors decided to discharge him from Hospital after which he has reached back home,” he said.
JKLF spokesman while expressing satisfaction over the health condition of Malik thanked the general masses for their prayers and wishes which made his speedy recovery possible.
While expressing gratitude to all resistance leaders, social, religious, political leaders and organizations and the common people who visited JKLF chairman at hospital or wished him well on phone, JKLF spokesman applauded the dedication, passion and specialized skills of Doctors at SKIMS who are treating patients with professionalism and care.
JKLF spokesman thanked all doctors, paramedical staff and related people for their support and zeal.
Meanwhile, Malik has strongly condemned the brutal killing of a mentally retarded person Habibullah of Soibugh who was killed with impunity by forces last night.
Terming this killing as ‘another example of trigger happiness of Indian occupational forces’, Malik said that “when soldiers are provided immunity from prosecution, they turn into monsters that can kill anyone anywhere.”
JKLF chairman while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family of martyred person, prayed for their patience.
While condemning the ‘ongoing police oppression’ against JKLF activists in north Kashmir areas, Malik said that JKLF District Secretary Molvi Reyaz was arrested by police some four days back and is still languishing in police station Choura.
“Similarly, police at Handwara raided the residences of JKLF senior activists Abdul Aziz Lone, Abdul Majeed Shah and Muhammad Amin and have summoned them to police stations,” he said.
While condemning the ‘highhandedness of police’, JKLF chairman said that every little space on peaceful political activities has been choked and even mourning’s has been banned by biggest democracy and their police authorities. (KNS)
