Will reach to every corner to facilitate needy and poor: Ashok Kou

Srinagar, Mar 10 (KNS): Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday said people of Schedule Cast (ST) are always been ignored by successive governments including NC, Congress and PDP. It said party is committed to reach out to all sections of society and stressed party leaders to strengthen the organization at grass root level.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), BJP conducted a meeting of Gujjar and Bakerwals in Srinagar hotel in which BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul and former minister Abdul Gani Kohli were present.
While addressing presser, Koul welcomed the new political outfit “Apni Party” by Syed Altaf Bukhari. He said Gujjars and Bakerwals will be given political reservation onwards in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and avowed the party’s aim to reach out every section of the society.
Koul said people of Schedule Caste (ST) are always been ignored by previous governments including NC, Congress and PDP, so our teams should reach to them. He stressed upon party cadres to strengthen BJP at grass root level.
“Our workers should reach to every poor and last man of the society to help them without any cast, color and creed. These people should get the advantage from our centrally sponsored schemes”, Koul said.
Speaking on the occasion, former minister and Gujjar leader Abdul Gani Kohli said that our workers should become the medium for centre and J&K sponsored schemes.
He also said Schedule Caste people are always at back so it is our moral duty to bring them on first line by facilitating them about these Schemes.
While on the Occasion Kashmir Media Incharge Manzoor Bhat appealed central government that it should initiate special recruitment drives for Gujjars and Bakerwal community in Army, CRPF and J&K Police. (KNS)
