Srinagar, Aug 23 (KNS): The officers and the officials of Security wing bid farewell to Dilbag Singh IPS on his transfer from Security Wing with great enthusiasm, after the officer has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police. An impressive function was organized on this occasion at Security Kashmir Srinagar to laud the guidance and efforts of the officer in helping the Security wing of J&K Police to touch new heights. Guard of Honour to the Director General of Police marked the beginning of the function. At the outset in the welcome address by Maqsood-u-Zaman SSP Security Kashmir, the role and able leadership of Dilbag Singh IPS was lauded under whose leadership a number of high profile super sensitive assignments were accomplished by Security wing during his period of one and half years as ADGP Security J&K.
Alok Kumar IPS IGP Security expressed his gratitude to the chief guest on behalf of all the ranks of Security wing and highlighted the positive and caring approach of Dilbag Singh as ADGP Security J&K. the function was attended by all the heads of valley based Security units including Manzoor Ahmad Dalal SSP AHJ, Mohammad Yousuf Shah SSP Security J&K, Sajad Ahmad Ganie CO AP 3rd Security, R.K. Chalotra SO to ADGP Security, Dushant Sharma SSP Civil Secretariat, Mohammad Saleem Khan ASP Security Kashmir and other officers. (KNS)
