Chandigarh, Dec 23(KNS): In a significant relief to a Kashmiri student, a day after the issue was highlighted by KNS, social activist Sheikh Salman Amin successfully facilitated the recovery of Rs 65,000 from a consultancy agency, while lauding the Chandigarh Police for their swift and professional intervention.
The case involved a student, Murtaza Rasheed from Baramulla, who had been struggling to recover his money after being issued a fake Azerbaijan e-visa (AE105617955).
The student had lost hope until Sheikh Salman Amin took cognizance of the matter and approached the police authorities.
Speaking to KNS, Sheikh Salman Amin said the resolution would not have been possible without the exemplary support of the Chandigarh Police.

Rasheed, the victim, also expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Salman Amin for his relentless efforts and the police for their decisive action.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Salman Amin has issued a strong advisory to students in Jammu and Kashmir to stay vigilant against online visa scams and verify agency credentials before making payments.(KNS)
