Banihal, Jan 15 (KNS): In order to redress the issues public belongs to hilly and back carnors of his assembly segment and to carry forward the slogan of his equitable development of all areas of Banihal constituency, Former minister and member legislative assembly from Banihal (MLA) Vikar Rasool Wani today visited village Maligam and convened public Darbar to redress the grievances of people.
A large number of people gave warm reception to MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool and participated in the public Darbar.
During the interaction regarding the peoples’ problems relating to timely distribution of power and water supply, requirements of electric poles, sanction of transformers and laying of new PHE pipes and crates the MLA issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned for taking appropriate steps in redressing the same.
While addressing huge public rally there MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool said the present government has failed to redress the issues confronting to the public living in hilly and backward areas of the state. He added that his assembly segment Banihal is adversely affected in present government. He further said that the developmental agenda of PDP BJP government is confined to the constituencies of their MLA's where as the areas of opposition MLA's are facing indifferences.
After taking the detailed review of public problems MLA banihal Vikar Rasool wani directed the government functionaries to take prompt action in redressing the genuine problems of the people.
Responding to some of the developmental issues, Wani said that proposals of some developmental projects of public importance have already been submitted for approval, sanction and release of funds, adding that concerned functionaries of core sectors have also been directed.
He stressed upon the people to avail the benefits of Centrally sponsored schemes
responding to the demands of the locals, Vikar Rasool Wani assured them that their genuine demands would be redressed on priority. Meanwhile released funds out of CDF for two new transformers at upper Thana and Gowhala, Two lacs for construction of toilet complex in the local Masjid and also released grants for purchasing desks for local school on public demand. On this move local people hail the developmental initiatives of MLA banihal Vikar Rasool and assured him for their active support. (KNS)
