Baramulla, Feb 16 (KNS): As the government approved the up-gradation of Primary Health Center (PHC) Sheeri as model hospital, the locals from the area hailed the ruling regime especially the efforts of Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Baramulla, Javid Hassan Beigh.
The demand for the up-gradation of PHC Sheeri as model hospital was long pending demand of Narwav residents.
MLA Javid Hussan Beigh told KNS that to boost healthcare and provide better facilities to people at doorsteps in far off villages, the government has decided to create a model hospital in every constituency and in Baramulla government.
He said that the government has accepted his recommendation regarding the up-gradation of PHC Sheeri.
Meanwhile, Zonel president PDP Baramulla, Gh Rasool Bhat said they are thankful to MLA Javid Hassan Baigh for taking such step. “It’s really a big achievement for the people of the area. We have no words to describe the step,” he said.
Earlier, the government approved the up-gradation of PHC Sheeri as Model hospital. (KNS)
