Handwara, Feb 22 (KNS): Two Drug peddlers were arrested by Handwara Police after they were chased when they tried to fled away on a motor cycle.
Maqsood Ahmed Shah S/O Mohd Abdullah and Ashiq Hussian Shah S/O Mohd Sultan both residents of Kachwari were apprehended at Chutipora crossing after a special anti drug squad of Handwara Police chased them when police had a specific input that duo were transporting drugs to a dealer.
Police is in search of dealer who had to take this consignment.
Meanwhile FIR No 36/2018 US 8/20 NDPS id lodged at Police station Handwara and investigation is taken up. (KNS)
