Srinagar, Jun 18 (KNS): Two persons have died while five others were injured as a rafting boat has capsized in Lidder stream in Pahalgam tourist resort.

As per medical officials in Pahalgam, two persons on board a rafting boat died when the boat they were rafting in capsized in the gushing waters of Lidder today afternoon.

BMO Saller told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that five persons were injured and they have been referred to a hospital for further treatment.

As per tourism officials one of the dead is from Reasi and another is a local employee of tourism department. (KNS)
