Srinagar, Sep 04 (KNS): Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel sustained injuries on Tuesday in a grenade blast in Sangrama area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that the militants attacked a CRPF party at Sangrama in which CRPF personnel sustained injuries.
Police said that two CRPF personnel got injured in the atatc, saying that they received minor injuries while as the search operation was launched in the area to nab the attackers.
“Grenade incident in Sangrama Sopore. Two CRPF jawans received minor injuries. Search is on in the area,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
Meanwhile, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) claimed the responsibility of grenade attack in Sangrahama, Sopore.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT spokesperson, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi said that “the cadres attacked CRPF at Sangrahama in which five CRPF men were injured.” (KNS)
