Monga demands exemplary punishment to culprits

Srinagar, Oct 25 (KNS): Condemning the desecration of Holy Book Quran by anti peace & unscrupulous elements at Ellahi Bagh, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee said that it is a conspiracy to hurt the emotions of people and create communal tension in the State.
Pradesh Congress Committee strongly condemned this act and demanded exemplary punishment to involved persons.
Describing this act as “most unfortunate, dastardly and shameful”, Pradesh Congress Committee urged the State Machinery to hold a thorough probe into this unfortunate incident and nab the culprits who have done this shameful act.
Congress Vice President and MLC G. N. Monga expressed serious concern over this incident, said that it is a move to polarize the situation in the state. Desecration of Holy Book Quran is intolerable, unacceptable and highly condemnable act.
Expressing serious concern over present prevailing situation in the state, Monga claimed that there are certain anti peace forces & factors active attempting to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of the State. G. N. Monga said.
Urging State Govt to find the truth behind the desecration of Holy book, Monga demanded a thorough probe into this unfortunate incident and sought exemplary punishment for the culprits.
