Srinagar, Jul 19 (KNS): As per the directions of Advisor to Governor Khurshid Ahmad Ganaie for conducting effective and fruitful training programmes for teachers and also organize Capacity Building Programmes for them to make the teaching learning process more effective, in the same context the Director of School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo has directed all DIETs of Kashmir Division to make ongoing training programmes for teachers under Samagra Shiksha in the subject of Social Science effective and fruitful.
Today Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo inaugurated one of the same programmes organized by DIET Pampore at BHSS Pampore. In his address he directed all the participating teachers to take the trainings seriously.
He said that in order to monitor the trainings effectively, these programmes shall be conducted under the direct supervision of Directorate of School Education Kashmir. He stressed for relevant training and the training to be as per the requirement of teachers and students.
Referring to the recent directions from Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganaie, he directed the participants to implement the trainings at ground level in letter and spirit and also directed the coordinators of the training to send daily report of the trainings to the higher ups.
DSEK said that these trainings have been conducted during vacations to save the precious academic time of the children. He directed the coordinators of the training programme to dedicate the 2nd half of the last day of the training programme for feedback and suggestions.
He said that the best three teachers from the each training programme shall be rewarded. He added that these top performing teachers shall be sent to national and international exposure visits to observe the Education system at these places and receive trainings from the experts there.
DSEK also visited the examination centre in the school established for the conduct of Term 1st examination of Class 9th and took stock of the facilities being provided to the students.
Dr. Itoo also visited the under construction building of DIET Pampore and stressed upon the concerned to expedite the work on the building so that it can be made functional at the earliest.
On the instructions of DSEK, different officers visited different Districts and inaugurated, monitored the trainings being held there. Joint Director Trainings Mehboob Hussain, Joint Director South Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone and Joint Director RMSA Saif Ali Chauhan inspected training programmes at DIET Anantnag and DIET Kulgam.
JD North Bashir Ahmad visited training centre in Baramulla, JD Central Abid Hussain monitored the training centre at Srinagar, JD Leh Tashi Dolma monitored Leh and Kargil Districts, JD SSA HR Pakhru visited Kupwara training centre, Joint Directors Suraya Akhter and Suraya Bano visited training centre in Budgam and OSD Academics Mir Sanauallah monitored the training centre in Ganderbal.
DSEK has directed all the concerned to make sure the regular and full participation of the teachers in the trainings and for its effective implementation on the ground level. (KNS)
