Jammu, Nov 26 (KNS): Traffic Police Jammu on Tuesday observed Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) by organising a commemorative event at Traffic Headquarters as per the directions of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
The programme, attended by officers and officials of Traffic HQ, Traffic Range Jammu and Traffic Police Rural Jammu, featured a special address by Dr. Mohd. Haseeb Mughal (IPS), DIG Traffic Range Jammu. He highlighted the historical significance of the Constitution of India and led the reading of the Preamble along with all participating staff.
The event underscored the reaffirmation of commitment by the Traffic Police to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution. The DIG stressed that Constitution Day serves as an important reminder of the duties vested in every public servant to protect citizens’ rights while ensuring transparency, justice and fairness in policing.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He urged all ranks to uphold constitutional principles in daily traffic management and public interactions, emphasising professionalism, accountability and courteous conduct. He added that adherence to the Constitution forms the foundation of good governance and effective policing.
