Three minors among seven dead in Reasi mishap, three injured

Srinagar, Dec 14 (KNS): At least seven persons including three minors died in a tragic road mishap after the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Damasgali Bhomag area of Reasi district.
The officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the vehicle bearing registration number (JKO2H-1515) was on its way from Surjandhar to Reasi.
The vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge, officials said, adding that the seven persons including three minors died on spot while three others sustained injuries.
The deceased were identified as Pankaj Singh (8), son of Uttam Singh of Chourakote, Bikram Singh (9), son of Bhori Singh of Chourakote, Ram Singh (14) son of Baldev Singh of Chourakote, Ragnu Nath Singh (20) son of Lt Balwant Singh of Chourakote, Surdhol Singh (22) son of Jameet Singh of Atranakote, Romesh Singh (25) son of Gandharb Singh of Atranakote and Karan Singh (40) son of Balak Ram of Harote Kote.
The injured were identified as Uttam Singh (32) son of Mushi Ram of Chourakote, Pardev Singh (21) son of Bhodi Singh of Harote Kote and Lehar Singh (29) son of Tej Ram of Harote Kote.
Officials said that the injured persons have been evacuated to the GMC hospital in Jammu where they are undergoing treatment. (KNS)
