Handwara, June 16 (KNS) : Three individuals were injured in an explosion on Monday morning while demolishing an old mosque structure in Kasheri village of Handwara, north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
According to the KNS, the explosion occurred unexpectedly during the demolition process, leaving three persons wounded. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelTheir condition is reported to be stable.
Soon after the incident, security forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area to ensure the safety of locals and to initiate a thorough investigation.
A senior police officer confirmed that incident , cause of the explosion is being ascertained. A detailed investigation is underway .(KNS)
