Srinagar, June 12 (KNS): As facebook post showing two youth extinguishing as burning live pine tree on Tangmarg BabaReshi road has receied applauds from netizens. With 177 shares so for and numerous comments the netizens have widely praised the efforts of the youth in having succeeded saving as mighty live pine tree from burning.
Ishafaq Reshi as youth uploaded the photographs and as video of the event on facebook on May 23 with the description that he and his firend Zubair Islam were on way to BabaReshi when they saw smoke and flames emerging from a pine tree. Notwithstanding the burning of lush green live tree they brought water in a bottle doused the flamesnug and prepared mud and pasted the lumps of mud on the burning part and waited on the spot untill it was sure to them that the tree was safe now.
Ishfaq on his facebook wall writes that they guessed that either some miscreant had done it for fun or the smugglers had tried to take the advantage of lockdown.
Ishfaq has taken a dig that amid corona crisis there were people busy with vested interests.
The netizens have appreciated the move of the two young boys for such kind of collective consciousness and zeal.(KNS)
