Srinagar, Nov 28 (KNS): A high level delegation of Teachers Joint Action Committee (TJAC) led by President Employees Joint Action Committee, Chairman Teachers Joint Action Committee, Abdul Qayoom Wani on Wednesday met with Advisor to Governor Khurshid Ahmed Ganie, Principal Secretary Finance Naveen Kumar Chowdhary and Secretary School Education Ajit Kumar Sahu in their office chambers at Civil Secretariat Jammu regarding the burning issues of SSA Teachers, Head Teachers, RAMSA masters, headmasters, particularly implementation of 7th Pay Commission from September 2018, delinking of SSA salary from MHRD to State budget, creation of posts and regularisation of un-regularized RETs, which have already been agreed in principle secretary finance with the leaders of TJAC and the same decision was announced by the Advisor to Governor Khurshid Ahmed Ganie at the venue of hunger strike of TJAC at Partap Park Srinagar and same decision was announced at the hunger strike venue of TJAC at Press Club Jammu by Director School Education Jammu Rakesh Sangral on the directions of advisor Khurshid Ahmed Ganie on 26th of September 2018.
The delegation was assured by Advisor Khurshid Ahmed Ganie that the decision which was already agreed by Governor Administration will be approved in next SAC Meeting.
Ganie said that Chief Secretary B.V.R Subramanian is very much desirous to resolve this critical issue and Principal Secretary Finance N. K. Chowdhary and Secretary School Education Ajit Kumar Sahu have put their all efforts in resolving this long pending issues once for all.
The delegation hoped that Governor of Jammu and Kashmir will uphold his commitment made with TJAC representatives on 26th September 2018 at his official residence Srinagar which was also attended by advisor Khurshid Ahmed Ganie, Secretary School Education Ajit Kumar Sahu, State Project Director Tuffail Mattoo and Director School Education Kashmir G.N. Ittoo by giving approval to the memo/ recommendations of high powered committee/ Department of Education in next SAC.
Wani also urged upon the whole teaching fraternity, especially SSA teachers, Head teachers and RAMSA masters, headmasters not to be panic as the leaders of Teachers Joint Action Committee of all the three regions are working on war footing basis to get these issues redressed in next SAC Meeting.
