Handwara , Sep 03 (KNS) : In a surprise inspection ordered by the Deputy Commissioner of Kupwara, Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara Javed Masoodi and Tehsildar Handwara Zeeshan Khan visited various government offices without prior notice. During the inspection, more than 16 employees were found absent from key departments including the Horticulture Department, BDO Office, and the Municipal Committee of Handwara.
The inspection was carried out early in the morning to assess the actual attendance status in government offices. The Tehsildar instructed that the list of absent employees be immediately forwarded to higher authorities and assured strict departmental action would be taken.
Speaking to the media asperKNS, Tehsildar Zeeshan Khan said,

Special Market Inspection Ahead of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ?: ?7,000 in Fines Imposed
Tehsildar Handwara also informed that, in view of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ?, a special inspection campaign was conducted in markets to ensure cleanliness, price control, and quality of goods. The campaign was a joint effort involving the Naib Tehsildars of Handwara and Magam, Municipal Committee, Police, and Food Department.
During the inspections, several shopkeepers were fined a total of ?7,000 for violations of regulations. The Tehsildar stated that the action was aimed at ensuring better services and facilities for the public.(KNS)
