Summoning a woman repeatedly has become intolerable: DFP

Condemns grilling of a woman for hours together at hands of ED officials

Srinagar, Jan 31 (KNS): Terming the repeated so called questioning of Dr Bilques, wife of its incarcerated chairman, Shabir Ahmad Shah at the hands of ED as highly condemnable, the Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has said that continuously summoning a reputed woman has become intolerable now.
DFP Secretary General, Moulana Mohammad Abdullah Tari has asked Indian authorities the reasons behind summoning of Dr Bilques repeatedly when ED has already submitted a so called charge sheet against Shabir Shah languishing in Tihar jail.
Moulana Tari said that government is playing delaying tactics just to prolong the illegal detention of Shabir Shah and summoning his wife every now and then is nothing but a policy to hoodwink. Moulana Tari strongly condemned the grilling of a woman for hours together at the hands of ED officials.
Tari said that when nothing has come out against the senior resistance leader, Shabir Shah ED is upset and in the process has even forgotten moral values. The Indian agency is targeting close relatives of Shabir Shah only to prolong his illegal detention.
Asking the same questions again and again proves that ED has nothing against either Shabir Shah or his wife but the Indian agency on the directions of the rulers is hell bent to trouble Shabir Shah and his close relatives. The repeated trauma Dr Bilques is compelled to pass through is paining not only DFP but the whole Kashmiri nation. Instead of issuing bail to Shabir Shah who has been put behind bars for no reasons, Indian authorities are using shameless attempts to somehow prolong his detention.
Terming not bailing out the incarcerated leader by court, as unfortunate, Moulana Tari said that justice loving people of India should ponder on their judicial system.
Meanwhile, DFP has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing away of Rayees Ahmad, a Shopian youth who was hit by bullets fired by Indian army on January 27. DFP said that on one hand India is hell to put the political leadership behind bars and on the other forces have been given free hand to kill Kashmiri youth. The whole nation is saddened by first murdering of Shakir Mir and then Javed Bhat, Suhail Lone and Rayees Ganai. (KNS)
