Srinagar, Sep 8 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) Youth President Sufi Tahir on Tuesday made a fervent appeal to the government to urgently intervene and resolve the ongoing agitation by intern doctors, who have launched a hunger strike at various Government Medical Colleges (GMCs) across the valley.
Expressing concern over the deteriorating situation, Tahir took to social media platform X to highlight the plight of the protesting medicos, particularly drawing attention to Dr Faisal of SKIMS JVC, who has been forced to resort to an indefinite fast.
"One of the intern doctors, Dr Faisal of SKIMS JVC, has to go on a hunger strike.

The JKPC youth leader reiterated his party's solidarity with the protesting doctors, stating that they stand with the medicos in their legitimate demands. He called for constructive dialogue between the administration and the agitating interns, emphasizing the need for timely intervention to bring the matter to an amicable resolution. (KNS)
