Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS): Senior Congress leader and former union minister, Prof Saif-ud-din Soz on Tuesday expressed grief over the demise of Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Bashir-ud-din Farouqi.
Soz as per a statement issued to KNS said that “I feel very sad over the Grand Mufti’s demise. He was a scholar of Islam but I know him for one quality, he never issued any controversial statement that created controversy in respect of Kashmir dispute.”
He prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and also for the courage to bereaved family. (KNS)
