Sopore, July 12 (KNS): A militant was killed in an ongoing gunfight that rages between government forces and militants in Rebban Vilalge of North Kashmir’s sopore town on Sunday.
As per reports reached to Kashmir News Service said after a joint team of Army’s 22 RR & CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the Suspected spot at Saimoh Reban the hiding militants fired upon them triggering off an encounter.
An official told Kashmir News Service that the identification of the militant is being ascertained
As per the sources, two to three militants including a commander are believed to be trapped.
Meanwhile authorities have suspended the internet services in PD Sopore as precautionary measures (KNS)
