Anantnag, Feb 01 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Spokesperson and former MLA Pahalgam Rafi Ahmad Mir has expressed his deep sorrow over the accident of snow avalanche injuring and killing snow clearing staff during avalanche in Aru area of Pahalgam.
Expressing deep shock Mir said urged the Governor to fasten the rescue operations using chopper services for evacuation.
Mir said that it is heartbreaking to see snow clearing staff risking their life in public service, words are not enough to express the deep sense of shock over this accident.
Mir urged the Governor administration to ensure the safety of the snow clearing operators and ground staff, stating that every life is precious.
Mir demanded immediate medical assistance to the injured snow clearing staff who are battling for life. He also urged the administration for providing ex-gratia relief to the deceased and injured. (KNS)
