Srinagar, Dec 14 (KNS): Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman, Mohd Ashraf Sehrai expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity over the demise of mother of Kashmir Reader owner and editor-in-chief, Haji Hayat Mohammad Bhat who passed away on Thursday afternoon after a brief illness.
Terming her demise ‘a huge loss’ for his family, Sehrai in a statement issued to KNS, prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Sehrai expressed deep condolence and sympathy with Haji Hayat Mohammad and bereaved family.
Sehrai also expressed his heartfelt condolences and solidarity over the demise of brother of renowned columnist and writer Ab .Majeed Zargher and prayed for the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Sehrai expressed grief over the loss of lives in a tragic road accident in Reasi where seven persons including two minors died and three others were seriously injured.
Sehrai offered his painful and deepest condolences to the affected families and expressed his anguish on the ‘persistent criminal negligence’ of authorities.
Sehrai prayed for speedy recovery of the injured. (KNS)
