Received 15 injured, one shifted to Srinagar: MS DH Anantnag

Srinagar, Apr 18 (KNS): Scores of students were injured during the clashes between them and forces at KP road in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The students took to the streets to protest against the Kathua rape and murder incident, witnesses said, adding that the students also pelted stones on forces resulting in clashes in the area.
The clashes later spread to Lal Chowk and Janglat Mandi areas of the district.
Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Anantnag, Dr Majid Mirab told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that they have received 15 injured so far.
“All the injured were treated in the hospital while one identified as Umaid Ahmad was shifted to Srinagar’s B&J hospital,” he said. (KNS)
