Sarv Dharam Sammelan Held in Delhi to Mark 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji

New Delhi, Sept 20 (KNS): An interfaith conference was organised in New Delhi on Saturday to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. The event, titled Sarv Dharam Sammelan, was held at the ICAR Convention Centre, Pusa Campus.

Prominent speakers at the conference included Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Chidanand Saraswati, Acharya Lokesh, Ravinder Pandita, Goswami Ji, Bhikku Sanghsena, Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Rabbi Ezeikel Issac, Rajyogi Binny Sareen, Anil Joseph and Giani Raghbir Singh.

The programme was presided over by guest of honours Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Kapil Mishra, both cabinet ministers in the Delhi government.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Ravinder Pandita, President of All India Kashmiri Samaj, was the only speaker from Jammu and Kashmir. In his address, he recalled Guru Teg Bahadur’s supreme sacrifice, saying, “We owe a lot to Guru Sahib, the saviour of Kashmiri Pandits during the rule of Aurangzeb.”

On the occasion, Pandita was also felicitated by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee for his contribution to interfaith dialogue.(KNS)
