Srinagar, 30 July (KNS) : In a vibrant show of grassroots political engagement, a group of enthusiastic young women from Khanyar formally joined the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference today at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

The function was organized by Provincial President Women's Wing, Er. Sabiya Qadri, and was also graced by the presence of Vice President JKNC Kashmir and MLA Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar.

Women's wing functionaries including Shubeena Ji, Aisha Ji, Haseena Ji, Vijaylakshmi Dutta, and VP JKYNC Kashmir Abid Wani also addressed the gathering.

In his address to party functionaries, Salman said, "The unwavering spirit and sense of purpose displayed by these young women today reaffirms our conviction that the next decisive mandate in the upcoming ULB elections will be shaped and led by our mothers and daughters. In her address Er. Sabiya Qadri said, "JKNC has championed women’s rights since 1932, and today’s joining is a testimony that the new generation of Kashmiri women is ready to lead. Their voices will not only amplify our call for restored statehood but will also drive our struggle for dignity, employment, and human rights."

The duo reiterated its commitment to creating spaces where women can lead transformative change and affirmed that their energy will be pivotal in reshaping Jammu & Kashmir’s political and social fabric.(KNS)
