Srinagar, July 3(KNS): Peoples Conference president and Handwara lawmaker Sajad Gani Lone on Tuesday said that if the current government releases a report on reservations, the Kashmiri-speaking population is likely to be affected.
"Mark my words. If any report is released by the current government the Kashmiri-speaking population will take a hit yet again," Lone posted on social media.
He reiterated his earlier stance, calling for a change in the recruitment policy.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelAccording to him, the government should resume district-level recruitment for non-gazetted posts and provincial-level recruitment for gazetted posts.
Lone has raised the issue in the past, expressing concern that changes in reservation policy may impact linguistic and regional representation in government jobs.(KNS).
