Srinagar, August 9 (KNS) : J&K Peoples Conference President and MLA Handwara Sajad Gani Lone on Saturday carried out an extensive tour of Trehgam constituency, visiting Farkin, Meelyal, Kachama, Tangwari Lone Harie, Dardpora, Chowkibal, Reddi, and Kralpora.

The day-long outreach was a mission to connect, listen and reaffirm the party’s unwavering resolve to be the voice of the people not just in speeches but in action on the ground.

Accompanied by senior party leaders including Party Chief Spokesperson Advocate Bashir Ahmed Dar, Spokesperson Advocate Majeed, Master Mohammad Amin, Altaf Ahmed, Mohammad Aslam, DDC Masrat, and Mr. Gulzar, Lone was welcomed at every stop by public gatherings, a clear reflection of the growing trust JKPC commands in Kupwara.

Addressing the people, Lone stated “Our politics is not a festival of empty promises. It is about delivery & welfare of the people, ensuring that every village, every Mohalla and every household feels the real touch of good governance.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Moreover, he hit out at the ruling dispensation for failing to address even the basic needs of the people.

“The current government has mastered the art of making announcements, but failed miserably when it comes to implementation. People have been patient for too long but their patience is running out," he asserted.

Lone also cautioned against what he termed the “dangerous disconnect” between the rulers and the ruled.

“Those in power live in ivory towers, cut off from the daily struggles of the people. For us, politics will always be about people, not positions. If we fail to listen, we fail to lead and the Peoples Conference will never fail its people.”

Locals welcomed Lone’s visit, praising his genuine concern for their hardships and direct engagement at the grassroots, expressing hope that his outreach would bring real change to Trehgam and Kupwara at large.(KNS)
