Saaya organises drug de-addiction program at Imamiya Public School

Srinagar, May 22 (KNS): Saaya- Shadow of Hope+ in collaboration with drug free world organised a awareness program in Imamiya Public School Meer Nehri Dal in Srinagar.

The program was started by the speech of Minhan, Vice president Hope Ray NGO, who threw light on the data of drug addict and drug abuse in Kashmir and shared his experience of field work.

The chief guest for the event was Indumeet Singh, who is the renowned social activist.

In his address, he said “we should come out together as society to end this evil.”

Aijaz Keshan, young social activist in his talked about the effects and religious tactics to deal the menace and urged youth to not get involved in such things.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Naveed Bukhtiyar of Saaya in his address advised students to understand the reality of life that is there are up and down in life of everyone which doesn't mean we should depend on drugs to relive ourselves.

Other speakers for the occasion were Balwinder Singh of Khalsa Aid, Pardeep Singh Dardi of Drug free world who also highlighted ill-effects of drug addiction toward society.

Vote of thanks was presented by Latief Ahmad of Imamiya Public School.

Event was supported by Hope Ray (NGO) & Education Trust Kashmir.

Hasnain Khawja and Wasiq Ali Khan of Saaya were also present in the event. Khushboo Jahan was the host for the Event. (KNS)
