Handwara, Sep 02 (KNS): In order to ensure effective coordination between Police and members of media fraternity in Handwara, the SSP Handwara today convened a meeting at SP office Handwara.
On the occasion, a general interactive session was held during which the members of media scribes highlighted various issues.
Speaking on the occasion SSP Handwara assured the media fraternity of providing every possible support. Terming the media as the third eye of the government, the SSP stressed upon the media persons to play their role in the development of the society besides overall development of the district. The SSP impressed upon them that they should not promote yellow journalism and their goal must be the efficient reformers for the society.
SDPO Handwara Shabir Ahmad Khan, SHO Handwara Azim Iqbal, senior journalist cum Bureau chief KNS Javid Zarger and president PJGH Shamim Abdullah were also present on this occasion. (KNS)
