Jammu, Jan 28 (KNS): Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Jammu, witnessed live video telecast of the inaugural session of “Global Potato Conclave”, organized today at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhi Nagar, Gujrat.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. K.S. Risam, Deans of faculties, Directors of Research, Extension, Dean Students Welfare along with faculty scientists and students watched the video telecast of address of Prime Minister, Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Chief Minister of Gujarat.
The video telecast has also been uploaded at the University website www.skuast.org and is available at: youtube.com/watch?v=KEocP6cSHNc. The Krishi Vigyan Kendras also video telecasted the event at KVK R.S. Pura and Kathua which was watched by about 100 farmers.
Around 500 faculty members and students viewed the programme. (KNS)
