SIE Kashmir organizes 5-day training programme

Srinagar, Feb 04 (KNS): State Institute of Education Kashmir Monday organised five-day training programs for higher secondary level in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha in Education, Mathematics, English, Botany, Political Science, Chemistry, Urdu and Zoology.
The inaugural session commenced with the welcoming address of JD trainings SIE, Mehboob Hussain, who in his speech urged upon the fact that these training programs for +2 level are conducted for the first time in SIE and need to be given due impetus for the betterment of students.
The teachers need to equip themselves with the latest pedagogy to keep themselves at par with the fast changing methodologies, he said.
Pir Bashir Senior Research Officer of SIE presided over the joint session of Urdu and Zoology. In both sessions, the services of resource persons from Kashmir University were utilised and it was emphasized that teachers are the torch bearers and role models for their students and need to give due preference to the duties assigned to them.
The program was coordinated by Sabahat, Manzoor, Javid Kirmani and Mir Shabeer. (KNS)
