Srinagar, Aug 12 (KNS): With an objective to encourage budding footballers of the State Football Academy, State Football Academy unit Bandipora here on Sunday distributed sports kits among both Aspiring boys and girls SFA teams of Bandipora District here in SKS Sports Stadium Bandipora.
Prominent Footballer and Head Coach Tahir Hashmee said after getting emmence response from the players of all Categories under 13, 15 and 18 to train themselves in a professional standard, we distributed full sports kits among 40 players.
A function was today held in SKS Sports Stadium Bandipora in which President District Football Association Bandipora, Ghulam Hassan Mir distributed kits among the players and encouraged them. Renowned Footballers of Bandipora district Mohammad Shafi Khan and Abdul Rashid was also accompanied with him.
Prominent Footballer and Head Coach of SFA Bandipora unit, Tahir Hashmee said, that the academy acted as major sports training institute and provide players a platform to prepare for national as well as international competitions.
Our aim is to provide opportunities to the youth of each, besides providing them coaching on professional lines so that they can make their way to reputed and professional clubs, he added. (KNS)
