SDPO Uri greets people on Eid-ul-Fitr, appeals shopkeeprs to desist from overpricing

Uri, May 22, (KNS): Sub- Divsional Police Officer (SDPO) Uri Junaid Wali on Friday greeted people of Uri on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Fitr and appealed shopkeepers to desist from overcharging goods.

Acording to Kashmir News Service (KNS), SDPO Uri greeted people of Uri on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. He appealed poeople of J&K particularly Uri residents to pray at this pious occasion for peace, prosperity and well being of community in wake of Covid-19 pandemic.

SDPO said at a time when we step out to buy eatables and other essentials on the eve of Eid ul Fitr, the Holy Ramadhan teaches us to take utmost care of poorest of the poor.

He appealed shopkeepers to desist from over charging goods to customers. "It has been observed that on eve of special occasions like Eid, shopkeepers resort to loot common people so I appeal them to desist from such acts and keep rates as the orders issud by government of J&K", SDPO Uri said.
