Srinagar, May 03 (KNS): Congress leader and noted social activist Altaf Malik Friday demanded Governor Administration to release all detained youth on the eve of holy month of Ramadhan and stop arrest spree which has created anguish among the parents and will further widen the alienation.

In a statement issued to KNS, Altaf further demanded to ensure the availability of essential commodities rice, sugar, flour, kerosene oil, cooking gas and scheduled power especially at Sehri and iftaar timing.

Moreover Altaf stressed on gearing up checking squads who will control price hikes of eatables, vegetables, meat and chickens during the holy month so the every class particularly labour and poor will able to buy and release wages to consolidated employees as an earliest. (KNS)
