Srinagar, Sep 8 (KNS) Senior National Conference leader and speaker Legislative Assembly , Ab Rahim Rather has paid glowing tribute to Sheri kashmir shiekh Mohd Abdullah on his 43rd death anniversary.
In his message ,Rather highlighted the revolutionary role played by sheri kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah for the welfare of the people of jammu and kashmir. He said Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah was the tallest leader of the state who has sacrificed a major part of his life to get rid of the people of the state from the clutches of poverty and repersion.
He said Sheri kashmir's revolutionary step of handing over Land to Tiller and introducing free education in the state has no parallels in the annals of the history of jammu and kashmir adding that need of the hour was to follow the vision and ideals of the great leader and founder of the National Conference for developing a hormonious and prosperous state.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Rather said that Sheri kashmir was a great reformist who lived with the slogan of ‘Hindu-Muslim-Sikh Itehaad’. “Sher-e-Kashmir’s contribution towards the upliftment of the people in the erstwhile state will be remembered for all times to come,” Rather added.(KNS)
