Pahalgam, Jan 01 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Spokesperson and former MLA Pahalgam who visited various areas of Pahalgam Constituency and orchards of Dachnipora area today said that government has failed to grant relief to orchardists.
Terming the delay futile, Mir said that the fruit growers are suffering as the government as failed to provide relief either through SDRF or the Special relief package as promised by the Governor.
Mir said that the Advisor visited orchards of South Kashmir but till date, the orchardists are suffering. “This delay in turn is affecting them badly. I urge the Governor that relief sought may be granted as orchardists and their families are suffering badly. PDP demands the relief to all affected districts and Anantnag in particular where the magnitude is high,” Mir added. (KNS)
