Baramulla, Sept 21 (KNS): Range Police Headquarters (RPHQ) Baramulla on Monday conducted a one-day Range Level Training Programme for investigating officers handling cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Dak Bungalow here.

The training programme was aimed at strengthening the professional capabilities of investigating officers and improving the quality of investigation and evidence collection in NDPS cases.

The programme also focused on enhancing forensic and legal understanding and developing effective prosecution skills to improve the prospects of securing convictions in narcotics-related cases.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

As many as 39 participants from the North Kashmir Range (NKR) attended the training programme.

Resource persons from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF), Prosecution Wing and District Police shared their expertise and practical insights with the participants.

The programme covered various aspects of NDPS investigation, including legal procedures, evidence collection, forensic considerations and prosecution-related requirements.(KNS)
